Our commitment

HomeBliss Real Estate is committed to making homeblissre.com accessible to people with disabilities. Housing is not optional, and a website that locks someone out of looking for a home is a real problem, not a technical footnote.

The standard we build to

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. In practice, that means we work to provide:

• Text alternatives for images that carry meaning
• Headings and landmarks that describe the structure of each page
• Color contrast that meets the AA ratio for body text
• Keyboard access to every interactive control, without a mouse
• Visible focus indicators as you tab through a page
• Form fields with labels that screen readers announce
• Layouts that reflow on a phone and at high zoom
• Respect for the reduced motion setting on your device

Where we fall short

Two areas are not fully under our control. Our property search is powered by a third-party internet data exchange provider, and our video and review sections embed third-party players and widgets. We have limited ability to change the accessibility of those embedded tools. If one of them blocks you, tell us and we will get you the same information another way, by phone or email, at no cost and without delay.
